My path twisted far away from you and where you chose to go. My path took some hard turns and moved over gnarly roots, it ran at a full sprint uphill and a slow stroll downhill. Often being given an easier route, I finally chose the more interesting, the more frightening, the more unexplored.
Much can happen in a short time and much can stay the same in a lifetime. I chose to accept the change, the challenge, the fear, the uncertainty, I paused before the breath and took a leap of faith. Awash with my own choices, my own feelings, my own heart, the embrace of life as it was meant to be for me.
